    FAQ

    Can I sign my child up for more than one camp?

    Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. Each camp features a unique theme and brand-new activities, so your child can attend multiple sessions without repeating projects—and keep the creativity flowing!

    Who are the Crayola® Imagine Arts Academy™ camp instructors?

    Our instructors are artists, educators, and college students studying art or education. Many are teachers or former teachers. All have experience working with elementary-aged children and have passed thorough background checks.

    What is the child-to-instructor ratio for your camps?

    Our typical ratio is one instructor for every 12–15 children. We adjust staffing based on enrollment to ensure each child receives plenty of support, attention, and encouragement.

    Do you provide lunch and snacks?

    We don’t provide food, so for full-day campers, we recommend packing a lunch, two snacks (morning and afternoon), and a labeled cup or water bottle. For half-day campers, please send one snack and a labeled cup or water bottle. To help keep everyone safe, please avoid snacks that contain peanuts.

    Where are your summer camps held?

    We host camps at our Waterford studio and at schools and partner sites across Oakland, Macomb, and Livingston Counties. Each location offers the same hands-on, creativity-filled experience using Crayola® supplies. Exact locations are listed during registration.
