Description
Meet the artists who broke the rules and changed what art could look like. In this hands-on art class, students will see what made artists like Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, Hannah Höch, and Keith Haring stand out, then use those ideas in bold self-portraits, graphic art, collage, painting, and mixed-media projects. The projects are guided, but no one has to make the exact same thing. Students can change things up, make their own choices, and decide how they want their finished piece to look. The goal isn’t to copy the artist. It’s to borrow the idea, put your own spin on it, and make something you’ll actually be excited to bring home.
